Many of us grew up in environments where emotions were dismissed or misunderstood. Over time, this shaped how we related to our feelings — and even how we related to God.

But the truth is:
Allah created us with emotions on purpose.
And through His beautiful Names, He shows us exactly how to understand, soothe, and guide those emotions:

✨ As-Salām — The Source of Peace, who brings calm to our hearts
✨ Ar-Raḥmān — The Most Merciful, who embraces us with his care

Children (and adults) learn emotional safety when they know their feelings are not “too much” — that the One who created them designed them to feel deeply, and responds to them with compassion, not punishment.

This is the foundation of Simply Sakina Co.
A space built on emotional awareness, cycle-breaking, and the spiritual truth that every feeling has a place with Allah, and every heart is deserving of sakina.

“Sakina” (سكينة) means peace and tranquility — and our hope is to bring that into the hands and hearts of children everywhere.
